The Argentine government, led by Javier Milei, is ready to sign a decree to restructure the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Manuel Adorni. This reform is one of three state restructuring measures that will be officially approved after an extraordinary session is called. The Secretariat will change its objectives and cease its ties with the advisory board on Defense, Security, and National Intelligence policies. Adorni will complete his organizational chart by appointing key figures to lead the communication, technology, and tourism areas. Dario Genua will remain as the Secretary of Innovation, Science, and Technology. Javier Lanari will be appointed as the Secretary of Communication. Daniel Scioli will be in charge of the Secretariat of Environment and Tourism. The National Registry of Persons (RENAPER) and the Sports area will be transferred to the organizational chart of the Minister of the Interior, Diego Santilli. According to journalist Ignacio Salerno, the document is already in the Secretariat of Legal and Technical Affairs for its official approval. The reform promoted by Coordinator Minister Adorni focuses on centralizing functions and reorienting the objectives of key secretariats. His Chief of Staff, Aimé Vázquez, will absorb areas that were under the purview of the former Chief of the Cabinet, José Rolandi. The functions Vázquez will take over include Legal and Administrative Coordination, Parliamentary and Institutional Relations, the Access to Public Information Agency (AAIP), and the State Asset Administration Agency (AABE). Structural changes to the Secretariat of Strategic Affairs, previously led by José Luis Vila, will also be confirmed.
